Madonna and True Blue Cumin Powder

During the Middle Ages in the Piedmont region of Italy, superstition dictated that a husband who drank cumin seed laced wine before traveling would remain faithful  I load down my chili recipe with this iron rich member of the parsley family. Cumin powder has such a strong and warm aroma! I wonder if that will have any effect on keeping Francois true blue. (Now I'm humming the totally 80's Madonna ditty.....help!!!) vintage postcards

Gosh, I didn't know that... I enjoy about reading what powers herbs have; those herbal gardens in monasteries were interesting places....

It leaves one wondering... does Madonna look at these old videos and just ask aloud, "What was I thinking? That is so dorky!"

:) Hmmm.... cumin.....

You are so full of information. I love cumin, and now I'm singing the Madonna song as well.

I did not know that about this herb. I love herbs--I actually grow an herb garden every year. Much of the time I use it throughout our mild winters.
